PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, praying to direct the 2nd respondent herein to consider the petitioner's representation dated 15.04.2019 seeking compensation under the Tamil Nadu Victim Compensation Scheme, 2013 in the light of the Government Order Dated 30.11.2013 in G.O.(Ms) No.1055, Home (Police XX) issued by the Home Department (Polce XII), Tamil Nadu Government, within time frame to be stipulated by this Court.

The limited prayer sought for in the present petition is for a direction to the 2nd respondent herein to consider the petitioner's representation dated 15.04.2019 seeking for compensation under the Tamil Nadu Victim Compensation Scheme, 2013, in the light of the Government Order dated 30.11.2013 in G.O.(MS)No.1055, Home (Police XX) issued by the Home Department https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

(Police XII), Tamil Nadu Government, within a stipulated time. 2.In view of the limited prayer sought for and without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner seeking for compensation, there shall be a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 15.04.2019 on its own merits and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, preferably, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 3.Accordingly, this criminal original petition stands disposed of.
