C.M.P.No.455 of 2023 in C.M.A.SR.No.42735 of 2022 RMT.TEEKAA RAMAN, J., This Petition has been filed to condone the delay of 238 days in paying the deficit Court fee of Rs.19,000/- in the above appeal as against the award dated 22.12.2021 and in MACT OP No.1192 of 2019 on the file of the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Chief Judge, Court of Small Causes, Chennai.
2.The notice has been served on both the parties.
3.Having satisfied with the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of this petition, the delay of 238 days is condoned subject to the condition that the claimants/petitioners will not be entitled to any interest for the delay period i.e., for 238 days, in the appeal.
4. Registry is directed to number the Civil Miscellaneous Appeal, if it is otherwise in order and post the same for admission.
5. Registry is further directed to print the name of the respondents counsel in the cause list, at the time of admission.
