This Criminal Original Petition is filed to direct the respondent/Police to expedite the investigation in Crime No.135 of 2022 1/4

and file the final report within a stipulated time that may be fixed by this Court.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent/Police undertakes that respondent/Police will file the final report within a period of ten (10) days before the Court concerned.

3. In view of the above undertaking, this Court directs the respondent/Police to complete the investigation in Crime No.135 of 2022 and file the final report within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
