O R D E R

The prayer sought for herein is for a Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to include the petitioner name in the Revenue Record in H.S.Patta No.15/1405 in S.No.6A/30 situated at M.V.Kuppam Village, Pernampet Taluk and Vellore District by considering the representation dated 26.08.2022.

2. The petitioner has already been given H.S.Patta No.15/1405 in S.No.6A/30 situated at M.V.Kuppam Village, Pernampet Taluk, Vellore District, however the same has not been mutated or incorporated in the revenue records. Therefore, in order to mutate the same, the petitioner had given a representation on 26.08.2022 to the respondents and in order to consider the said representation and to pass orders, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition.

3. Heard Mr.M.Sudhakar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mrs.Akila Rajendran, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

4. The learned Government Advocate for the respondents would 2/4

submit that, the said representation submitted by the petitioner dated 26.08.2022 would be considered and orders passed on merits and in accordance with law within a time frame that may be stipulated by this Court.

5. Considering the said submission made by the learned Government Advocate for the respondents and taking into account the limited scope of the prayer sought for in this writ petition, this Court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition with the following order: There shall be a direction to the 2nd respondent to take up the said representation dated 26.08.2022 given by the petitioner and pass necessary orders thereon on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
