ORDER

The prayer sought for herein is for a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to dispose the representation of the petitioner dated 01.10.2022 having Application No.2022/0105/01/444533 within a time frame fixed by this Court.

2. In respect of the various properties at Adayalampattu Village, Poonamallee Taluk, Tiruvallur District, which according to the petitioner belongs to the petitioner, he made an application to the second respondent Tahsildar on 01.10.2022 for sub division and issuance of separate patta, the said application since has not been considered, the petitioner has moved the present writ petition.

3. Heard Mr.N.Sivaprakash, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.P.Sathish, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

4. Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the said application submitted by the petitioner would be considered and decided on merits and in accordance 2/4

with law within a time frame that may be stipulated by this Court.

5. Having regard to the said stand taken by the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, this Court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition with the following order: That there shall be a direction to the second respondent to pass orders on the application submitted by the petitioner dated 01.10.2022 with regard to the plea of the petitioner for sub division and issuance of patta after hearing the necessary parties to that effect on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight(8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
