The premature termination of the contract is under challenge in this writ petition.

2. According to the petitioner, the 2nd respondent called for bidders for transport of milk during the month of November 2019. The petitioner being a successful bidder awarded the contract for a period from 15.11.2019 to 29.11.2019. However, before expiry of the contract period impugned letter dated 20.11.2019 was issued by the Managing Director of TCMPF Limited/2nd respondent herein

indicating that the Unions are instructed to stop supply of milk to the contractors from 23.11.2019 onwards.

3. At the time of admission, this Court prima facie satisfied with the plea of the petitioner granted an order of interim stay of the impugned letter on 22.11.2019 and posted the matter on 26.11.2019.

4. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the 1st respondent submits that the impugned letter dated 20.11.2019 has been recalled by an order dated 22.11.2019 and the petitioner is carrying on milk as per the original contract.

5. Recording the same, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. No costs.
