Prayer: This Writ Petition is filed under article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the 1/4
records pertaining to proceedings of the third respondent vide his proceedings in Na.ka.No. 28763/2019/pe3 dated 07.11.2019 and to quash the same as illegal, incompetent and ultravires and consequently direct the respondents to regularize the service of the petitioner from the date of initial appointment as Tractor Driver under the fourth respondent Town Panchayat in the regular time scale of pay with all attendant and monetary benefits within a reasonable time fixed by this Court. Thus, the matter was passed over. Even when the matter was called again in the afternoon session, there was no representation on behalf of the petitioner.

There was no representation on behalf of the petitioner on earlier dates of hearing i.e., on 11.12.2025 & 23.03.2026, when this Court had directed the matter to be listed under the caption "for dismissal". Thus, this Court is of the view that the petitioner is not interested to pursue the Writ Petition and accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
