ORDER

This Suo Motu Case is dealt with in an extraordinary manner by the Dedicated Bench, pursuant to Suo Motu W.P.(Crl.) No.618 of 2025. 2.This case is registered in Cr.No.503 of 2018 for the alleged offences under Sections 379 & 34 of the I.P.C. The allegation in this case is that the accused committed theft of the bike of the defacto complainant. It is reported that the said bike has been recovered and handed over to the complainant. The case is pending since the year 2018.

sha 3.Considering the nature of the allegation, the antecedents of the accused and since the accused has been facing the case since 2018, any further continuation of the trial would impinge upon his right to a speedy trial of the accused and no useful purpose would be served. 4.Accordingly, the case in C.C.No.3 of 2019 of Judicial Magistrate Court No.1, Mannargudi Taluk, Tiruvarur, stands quashed. This Suo Motu Transfer Case is disposed of.
