Heard the learned counsel appearing for the applicant and the learned counsel appearing for the respondent/defendant.

2. The contention of the applicant is that at the time of filing the suit, the 1st plaintiff IFMR Trust was represented by its Trustee, IFMR Trusteeship Services Private Limited. On 29.11.2017, the trust deed has been amended and the name of IFMR Trust has now been changed as Dvara Trust. The amended trust deed is also duly registered. As a consequence, the present application is taken out to carry out the necessary substitution in the cause title both long and short and the statement of address furnished in the plaint under Order VI Rule 20(A) of CPC.

3. Being a formal amendment consequential to the change of the trust name, this application is allowed. The applicant/plaintiff is directed to carry out the amendment by 11.12.2019 and a clean copy to be furnished on the same day.
