Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to call for the counseling of the petitioner, under Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act 2016, Section 34(2) in the place now being one vacancy in backlog under the General turn category-4 to the petitioner and put into 65 % locomotor disability cerebral palsy disability category-3.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to call the petitioner for counseling, as per Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act 2016, 2.When the matter came up for hearing today, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that pending Writ Petition, petitioner was called for certificate verification.

3.The learned counsel for the respondents 1 and 2 also submits that the petitioner has been called for certificate verification and further, he will be considered for appointment as per rules.

4.Therefore, the original prayer made in the present Writ Petition to call the petitioner for counselling has become infructuous. Depending on the outcome of the selection process, all the grounds which are raised in the present Writ Petition are kept open, in the event, if petitioner is not being selected.

5.Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 01.04.2024 Index : Yes/No : Yes/No Speaking order : Yes/No Jer
