O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition is filed to direct the respondents/Police not to harass the petitioner under the guise of an enquiry in connection with the complaint given by one Arujunan.

2. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State submitted that based on the complaint given by one Arujunan/de-facto complainant, the petitioner was called for enquiry.

3. After receiving the complaint, it is the duty of the police to conduct an enquiry prior for registering the case and for filing of final report. Calling the petitioner for enquiry cannot be considered as harassment. Hence, the petitioner is directed to co-operate for the enquiry.
