O R D E R

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to consider his representation dated 03.02.2024 and issue appropriate No Objection Certificate within time stipulated by this Court.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that he was allotted Plot measuring 90 sq. meter by the second respondent by allotment order No.36199/99/E1, dated 03.02.1999. After allotment, the petitioner has also paid necessary amount to the respondent as per the allotment order and constructed a house in the allotted land by spending huge amount. Now the Chennai Metro Rail Limited acquired the above said land. Since no sale deed has been executed to the petitioner, the Metro Rail officials insisted the production of either sale deed or No Objection Certificate from the respondents for the purpose of payment of compensation amount for the 2/6

acquired land. Hence, the petitioner submitted a representation on 03.02.2024 before the first respondent seeking necessary No Objection Certificate or execution of sale deed and the same has not been considered by the first respondent till date. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner has come before this Court.

3. Ms.K.Indumathy Venkatesh, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 would submits that the representation submitted by the petitioner will be considered in accordance with law within time stipulated by this Court.

4. In view of the same, without going into the merits of the matter, the first respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner and pass final orders on its own merits within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 3/6
