This Criminal Original Petition is filed to direct the third respondent not to harass the petitioners.

2. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents/Police states that based on the complaint given by the fourth respondent herein, who is the wife of the first petitioner, a case was registered and C.S.R.No.397 of 2024 was pending against him. Therefore, the petitioners were called for enquiry. Without participating in the enquiry, they have approached this Court filing this petition as if Police is harassing.

3. Calling the complainant for enquiry cannot be considered as harassment. Without participating to the enquiry, the petitioners made vile allegation against the Police is before this Court alleging that they should not be harassed. Without participating in the enquiry, the Police 2/4

cannot reach any conclusion about the verocity of this complaint. In the said circumstances, it is suffice to direct the petitioners to appear before the Investigating Officer and co-operate with the enquiry.
