ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for a mandamus seeking for a direction to the first and second respondents to pass final orders on the petitioner's representation dated 11.12.2022, seeking for appointment to the post of Village Assistant in Sirkazhi Taluk situated in Mayiladudurai District.

2. The petitioner claims that he is from the lower strata of society and he is hard pressed for money. He has given a representation on 11.12.2022. The petitioner belongs to Sirkazhi Taluk in Mayiladudurai District. The petitioner has filed documents along with his representation to substantiate his claim that he is entitled for appointment to the post of Village Assistant. It is for the respondents to consider the same on merits and in accordance with law.

3. He has given a representation on 11.12.2022 to the respondents requesting them to appoint him to the post of Village Assistant in Sirkazhi Taluk situated in Mayiladudurai District. Since the representation has not been considered till date, he has filed this Writ Petition. 2/5

4. Heard, Mr.Dalit Tiger C.Ponnusamy, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.Stalin Abimanyu, learned Additional Government Pleader accepts notice for the respondents.

5. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents if the petitioner's representation as stated supra is considered on merits and in accordance with law within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

6. For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the second respondent to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's representation dated 11.12.2022 seeking for appointment to the post of Village Assistant in Sirkazhi Taluk situated in Mayiladudurai District within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7. With the aforementioned directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No Costs.
