These petitions have been filed to implead M/s.Synidcate Bank, Represented by its Branch Manager, Gugai Branch, Salem as the second respondent in Crl.A.Nos.259 & 262 of 2017.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners were found guilty for the offence under Section 420 of IPC and sentenced to undergo three years rigorous imprisonment and to pay fine of Rs.20,000/- each. Against the judgment of conviction, the petitioners have filed appeals in Crl.A.Nos.259 & 262 of 2017 before this Court.

3. He further submitted that even before the judgment of the trial Court, the petitioners have settled their entire loan amount along with interest and thereby, no loss has been caused to the de facto complainant's bank. He also submitted that the petitioners intend to compound the matter and the Bank is also ready to compromise the matter. Thereby the present petitions have been filed seeking to implead the de facto complainant Bank as second respondent in both the Criminal Appeals.

4. The reasons adduced in the affidavits filed in support of these petitions being satisfactory, these petitions are ordered.

5. Registry is directed to carry out the necessary amendments in the Criminal Appeal Nos.259 & 362 of 2017.
