JUDGMENT

(The judgment of this Court was made by S.M.Subramaniam,J.,) The present intra-court appeal, on hand, has been instituted to assail the order dated 17.06.2022 passed in W.P.No.35962 of 2019. 2.The writ petitioner is the appellant before this Court. The case, on hand, is about the private property dispute between the appellant and the private respondents 3 to 8. Civil suits instituted are pending before the competent civil Court.

3.The writ petition has been instituted seeking a direction to the District Collector to file a final report by disposing of the petitioner's representation dated 25.06.2019. A mere direction to dispose of such representation would not serve the cause of justice in the present case and it would result in multiplicity of writ proceedings. Disputes relating to civil rights cannot be adjudicated in a writ proceedings. More so, it is a private property dispute and thus, the writ court is right in dismissing the writ petition and this Court has no hesitation in confirming the order.

4. In view of the above, the writ appeal is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
