PETITION under Section 482 of the Criminal Procedure Code praying to direct the respondents to further investigate Crime No.386 of 2023 dated 29.9.2023.

ORDER

This is a petition filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to the 1/4

respondents to further investigate the case in Crime No.386 of 2023 and to file a final report.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents.

3. When the matter came up for hearing on 13.12.2023, this Court directed the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) to take instructions and to file a status report based on the report of the Revenue Divisional Officer concerned.

4. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the report of the concerned Revenue Divisional Officer dated 23.11.2023 has been received by the second respondent, that this report will also be made as a part of the investigation and that the investigation will be completed effectively by the third respondent and a final report will be filed.

5. In view of the above submissions made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), there shall be a direction to the third 2/4

respondent to effectively proceed with the investigation and file a final report or closure report, as the case may be, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. The above criminal original petition is disposed of with the above direction.
