The petitioners herein apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Section 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961 and Sections 85, 115(2), 351(2)(3) of BNS, 2023 on the file of the respondent Police.
2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent submits that due to a matrimonial dispute, the petition enquiry is pending in CSR.No.201 of 2025.
3. The learned counsel for the defacto complainant is also present and endorses the fact.
4. On considering the nature of the complaint, this anticipatory bail petition stands dismissed. Since the respondent police is only investigating the complaint and has not registered any case against this petitioner, the petitioner is directed to appear before the respondent police on receipt of summons and participate in the CSR enquiry. The said enquiry is to be completed within a period of three weeks from today. The respondent police shall not take any coercive action unless and until no cognizable offence is made out, during the 2/4
course of the enquiry.
