Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the relief sought in the Writ Petition has been granted. But, in the meantime, the petitioner has passed away. 2.

Learned counsel for respondents 3 to 5 produced a communication dated 06.08.2012 from the Assistant Executive Engineer (Incharge), O & M, TNEB, Orathanadu addressed to the Standing Counsel for the Tamil Nadu Electricity Board in respect of the relief sought by the petitioner. 3.

In view of the above and recording the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Writ Petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected W.P.M.P.No.18746 of 2004 is closed.
