ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner to quash the impugned news bulletin dated 14.8.2017 published in Tamil daily (Thanthi) issued by the

1st respondent for filling up the post of Anaganwadi Worker, Mini Anaganwadi Worker and Anganwadi Helper under the Child Development Programme and to direct the respondents to conduct free and fair selection process in filing up of aforesaid posts by following the rule of reservation.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner has sought time last occasion to get instruction regarding prosecution of the Writ Petition.

3. The learned counsel for the respondent submits that the petitioner has addressed a letter stating that he does not intends to prosecute the Writ Petition.

4. Taking note of the contents of the letter addressed by the petitioner, the Writ Petition is dismissed since the petitioner seeks leave of this Court to withdraw this Writ Petition. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
