ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.) The writ of mandamus has been instituted to direct the respondents to provide medical treatment to the petitioner/convict prisoner viz., Prabakaran, S/o. Ravi, aged 30 years, Convict No.10944, confined at Central Prison, Puzhal, Chennai, by sending him to the Government Stanley Hospital, Chennai. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondents would submit that actions are already initiated, based on the request and the prisoner will be sent to Government Stanley Hospital, Chennai by today i.e., 05.11.2024 or tomorrow i.e., 06.11.2024 for providing adequate medical treatment to the prisoner.

In view of the fact that the grievances of the petitioner have already redressed by the Prison Authorities, no further adjudication needs to be undertaken and consequently, the writ petition stands disposed of.
