Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ of mandamus, directing the 1st to 3rd respondents to remove the encroachment of the 4th to 6th respondents from common pathway/Government Poramboke land in S.No.137 situated at Kunniyur Village, Sikkadu Post, Kallakurichi District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 05.09.2023 preferred to the 1st to 3rd respondents in accordance with law.

ORDER

(Made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) Heard Mr.S.Mohamed Ansar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.P.Muthukumar, learned State Government Pleader for respondents 1 to 3.

2. The petitioner alleges encroachment on the pathway.

3. The petitioner may approach the Committee constituted under the Government Order bearing G.O.Ms.No.64 dated 08.02.2022. If the petitioner approaches the Committee, the Committee may consider the grievance of the petitioner on its own merits and in accordance with law.

4. In light of the above, the writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
