ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to direct the 1st and 2nd respondents to survey with police protection and fence the land by considering the petitioners representation dated 08.08.2025.

2. Mr.P.Ganesan, learned Government Advocate, takes notice on behalf of the 1st respondent and Mr.L.Baskaran, learned Government Advocate, takes notice on behalf of the 2nd respondent.

3. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is having entitlement the subject property by virtue of the gift deed dated 02.05.2011 and subsequently, he had also obtained patta of 2/6

the said property in his name. Under these circumstances, some neighbouring individuals are trying to fence the petitioner's land without any valid rights. Hence, a representation was made by the petitioner on 08.08.2025, requesting the respondents to survey and fence the property. However, the said representation was not at all considered by the respondent till date. Hence, this writ petition.

5. In reply, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the 1st respondent would submit that petitioner's representation will be considered and diposed of within a period of 4 weeks.

6. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents and also perused the materials available on record.

7. In the case on hand, the petitioner is having entitlement in the subject property by virtue of the gift deed dated 02.05.2011 and subsequently, he had also obtained patta of the said property in his name. Under these circumstances, some neighbouring individuals are trying to 3/6

fence the petitioner's land without any valid rights. Hence, a representation was made by the petitioner on 08.08.2025, requesting the respondents to survey and fence the property. However, the said representation was not at all considered by the respondent till date.

8. In view of the above, this Court directs the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 08.08.2025 within a period of 4 weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. If there is any obstruction in the process of surveying and fixing boundary stones at the subject land, the 1st respondent is at liberty to approach 2nd respondent, who shall provide all necessary assistance to him till the completion of process.

9. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
