ORDER
This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking to direct the 4 th respondent to restore the revenue records in favour of petitioner in respect of the property comprised in R.S.Nos.19/1, 37/2, 112/9, 112/12 and 122/5 situated in
Muthampalayam Village, Erode Taluk, Erode District by removing the name of the 6th respondent based on the petitioner's representation dated 16.01.2025. 2.Mrs.S.Indhu Bala, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 5. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself. 3.Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner made a representation dated 16.01.2025 before the respondents 1 to 4, to restore the revenue records in favour of petitioner in respect of the property comprised in R.S.Nos.19/1, 37/2, 112/9, 112/12 and 122/5 situated in Muthampalayam Village, Erode Taluk, Erode District by removing the name of the 6th th respondent. However, till date the same has not been considered by the 4 th respondent to consider and respondent. Hence, he prayed to direct the 4 dispose of petitioner's representation dated 16.01.2025.
4.Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 5 would submit that the issues raised by the petitioner can be decided before the Civil Court. However, though the petitioner made a representation before the respondents 1 to 4, the enquiry will be conducted and orders will be passed on merits and in accordance with law.
5.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 5. 6.Considering the submission made by both the parties and in view of the limited prayer sought for in this Writ Petition, without going into the merits of the case, this Court directs the 4 th respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 16.01.2025 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
7.With the above said direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
