O R D E R

This contempt petition is filed alleging non compliance of the order passed by this Court on 31.07.2019 in W.A.No.1554 of 2019.

2. Today, when the contempt petition is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the Respondents submitted that the order passed by this Court on 31.07.2019 has been complied with. He has also produced the Affidavit dated 20.02.2023 of the 1st Respondent to that effect. Paragraph 8 of the said Affidavit is extracted below:

"8. I submit that as per direction of Hon'ble High Court of Madras in Judgement dated:31.07.2019 in W.A.No.1554 of 2019 to implement the Judgement dated:31.07.2019 in W.A.No.1554 of 2019 of the Hon'ble High Court of Madras and issued orders as follows:

i. Notionally fixed her seniority with effect from 26.11.2001 (i.e) from the date of her appointment on contract basis vide order dated 26.11.2021.

ii. As per the direction of Hon'ble High Court Madras, Tmt. Thomas Stella Shanthi, Staff Nurses is not eligible for monetary benefits.

iii. Consequently, this individual's seniority now re-fixed notionally as tabled below:- 2/4
