Writ Petition is filed alleging that police is interfering in the day to day affairs of the petitioner's club for playing the game of rummy.

2. Petitioner's representation dated 23.09.2023 seeking blanket protection for the activities of the club cannot be considered. It is always open to the respondent police to have a check over the activities of any club to ascertain whether any prohibited activities are undertaken. If card game is played, respondent police is at liberty to take action in accordance with law.
