We have heard Mr.Karthik Jagannath, learned Government Advocate for the applicants and Mr.A.Vimal Raj, learned counsel for the respondent.

2. This is an application for condonation of delay of 208 days in filing the appeal.

3. The learned counsel for the non-applicant submits that the contentions raised in the application are false. The applicants received the order on 09.06.2022, however, the appeal was filed only in November, 2022. No valid and justifiable reason is given for filing the writ appeal belatedly. The learned counsel further submits that the applicants do not have case on merits.
