Heard Mr. G.Mohammed Aseef, Learned Counsel for the Petitioner, Mr. V.Sudalai Selvam, Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the First and Second Respondents, and Mr. P.Ganesan, Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the Third Respondent, and perused the materials placed on record, apart from the pleadings of the parties. 2.

The Writ Petition has been filed for directing the Second Respondent to issue allotment order to the Petitioner for the allotted M+1 Plot measuring an extent of 912 sq. ft. under the Maraimalai Nagar Development Scheme within the time limit that may be stipulated by the Court. 3.

As it has been mentioned in the Counter-Affidavit dated 22.01.2024 filed by the First Respondent that no land of the Petitioner has been acquired under the Maraimalai Nagar Development Scheme so as to enable him to any 3/5

allotment of plot as sought, Learned Counsel for the Petitioner seeks permission of the Court to withdraw the Writ Petition and he has made an endorsement to that effect in the court record.

In view of the same, the Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. No costs.
