O R D E R
The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner representation dated 15.11.2019 and to alter the EB line as per petitioner representation.
2. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner he is residing at Poiyeri kattur, Unjalur Post, Kodumudi Taluk, Erode District. There were two temples viz., Karuppannasami temple and Kannimar temple in S.No.116/8 and the villagers used to celebrate festivals in the said temples and supposed to take drinking water from the bore well situated nearby the temple in
the aforesaid Survey number and that was set up by some land owners of the said village. Thereby, the petitioner decided to get electricity connection from the Electricity Board and also got no objection certificate from his neighbouring land in Survey No.116/1 through which the EB line passes. Since, the existing bore well was erected in the common pathway of all the land owner, it gets disturbed while using of the pathway. Thereby, the petitioner made a representation dated 15.11.2019 to alter the electricity line in S.No.116/8 to S.No.116/1, Unjalur Village, Kodumudi Taluk, Erode District. Based on which no order was passed by the respondents till date. Hence, this Writ Petition is filed.

Though very many grounds have been raised, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that it would suffice if this Court issues direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 15.11.2019 for change of electricity connection and pass orders on the same within a particular time frame fixed by this Court. She further submits that the petitioner was ready to bare the expenses meted out for the electricity connection.
4.The learned counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that he has no objection in the prayer sought for by the petitioner and further submitted that the petitioner's representation dated 15.11.2019 will be considered in accordance with law and appropriate order will be passed within the time stipulated by this court.
5. In view of the above, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 15.11.2019 on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders on the same, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This writ petition is accordingly disposed of. No costs.
