ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for direction to the 1st Respondent to reconsider the final selection list published on 23.08.2016 and cancel the appointment of the 54th ranked candidate (Roll No. 001023128) with reference to the judgement of this Court in the case of M.Satheesh Kumar vs State of Tamil Nadu dated 07.09.2022 in W.P. No. 6201 of 2013 as petitioner's case falls within the parameters of the said Satheesh Kumar case and to direct respondents 1 to 3 to appoint the petitioner to the post of Deputy Superintendent of Police with all consequential service benefits.

The learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the petition and he has also made an endorsement to that effect.

In view of the endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to the petitioner to challenge the selection list concerned in the manner known to law, if so advised.
