ORDER
The Petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 24.06.2025 for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 126(2), 296(b) and 103(1) of BNS Act, in Crime No.179 of 2025 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.
2. The case of prosecution is that the defacto complainant that on 1/4
21.06.2025 husband riding his motor cycle at Pillayarkuppam to Annanagar near brick kiln three persons intercepted him and scolded him in a filthy language and assaulted him with knives and caused severe bleeding injuries and as a result of which he died on the spot. Hence this case.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution and she has been falsely implicated in this case. Hence, he prays for grant of bail.
4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for respondent would submit that there was illegal affair between the petitioner and A1 and they planned to commit murder the deceased, who is her husband. He would also submit that if she is released on bail, he would hamper the investigation and tamper the witnesses. However, he would vehemently opposed to grant bail to the petitioner.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions made by both counsel and also considering gravity of offences committed by the petitioner and the fact that there was some illegal affair between the petitioner and A1, and the investigation is not yet completed and if she is released on bail, there is possibility of tampering the witnesses and hampering the investigation, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. 10.09.2025 rna 2/4
