ORDER

The petitioner herein apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 332(b), BNS and Section 9(m), r/w 10, 5(m), r/w 6 of POCSO Act, in Crime No.34 of 2024, on the file of the respondent Police, seeks bail.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner states that the petitioner is in prison for more than 250 days and he may be granted bail.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police states that the petitioner is the relative of the victim girl. He further states that the case is posted for trial and the victim is yet to be examined. At this juncture, the petitioner is released on bail.

4. Considering the said objections, the petitioner can revive the bail application after completion of examination of the victim and the defacto complainant.

5. Taking note of the said observations, this Court is not inclined to grant of bail for this petitioner. Hence, the Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
