This Criminal Original Petition is filed, seeking for a direction to forbear the respondent police from in any manner harassing the petitioner under the guise of investigation and inquiry, compelling the petitioner to settle the matter out of Court.

2. The petitioner is squattering over the land of the complainant without paying the rent, thereby, the complainant has lodged a complaint to evict him from the leased property. The petitioner has complained of harassment by the police based on the complaint and seeks this Court's intervention by way of a direction.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondent submitted that based on the complaint given by the landlord, the petitioner is threatening him when he demands rent, and the petitioner was called for enquiry except this, there was no harassment as alleged by the petitioner.
