ORDER

This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition has been filed to extend the time for enabling the petitioners to comply the condition to surrender/furnish sureties

before the concerned Magistrate and further condition to deposit a sum of Rs.25,000/- each to the credit of Crime No.637 of 2025 before the concerned Magistrate as ordered by this court in Crl.O.P.No. 22853 of 2025 by an order dated 18.08.2025.

2. Today, when the matter taken up for hearing, both learned counsel for petitioners and learned Govt. Advocate (Crl. Side) for respondent appeared. The learned counsel for petitioners submitted that due to their medical ailment and as the 2nd petitioner was the person looking after the 1st petitioner all along and also they were not in a position to mobile money and comply the direction issued by this court within a stipulated time. Hence, they have filed this petition for extension of time.

3. Considering the request made by the petitioners herein, this Court is inclined to extend time for the period of two weeks for surrendering them before the concerned Magistrate and also to deposit a sum of Rs.25,000/- into the credit of crime No. 637 of 2025 before the concerned Magistrate in Crl. O.P.No. 22853 of 2025. Accordingly, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is ordered.
