JUDGMENT

(Delivered by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) Heard learned counsel for the parties.

2. A joint affidavit in the shape of settlement has been filed before this Court and a joint memo by learned counsel for the appellant as well as the first respondent has also been placed on record.

3. The disclosure made in the settlement is to the effect that the full and final settlement of all disputes has crystallized and the employee V.Balakrishnan has received a sum of Rs.10 Lakhs (Rupees Ten Lakhs only) by way of Demand Draft bearing No.061019, dated 11.6.2020, drawn on Indian Overseas Bank, Triplicane Branch, Chennai.

4. It is thus evident that the parties have settled their disputes amicably outside the Court finally.

We, therefore, dispose of this appeal and record that the impugned award and the impugned judgment of learned Single Judge in W.P.No.11905 of 2010, dated 7.8.2019 shall now stand modified in terms of the settlement. No costs. Consequently, C.M.P.No.25797 of 2019 is closed.
