V.Selvanayagam v. State Rep By Inspector Of Police

2024-01-08Honourable Mr Justice N. Anand Venkatesh1 pages

Writ Petition No.32545 of 2023 N.ANAND VENKATESH, J The matter is posted under the caption "for reporting compliance".

2. This Court had directed all the articles kept inside the marriage hall belonging to the petitioner, to be handed over to the petitioner and the same to be reported before this Court.

3. Learned counsel for second respondent submitted that all the articles that were kept inside the marriage hall and which belongs to the petitioner had been handed over. However, learned counsel for petitioner submitted that many articles belonging to the petitioner has not been returned back and the list of those articles have also been given in the report that has been filed before this Court.

4. It is very difficult for this Court to get into the nitty-gritty of this issue. This Court had already given liberty to the petitioner to work out his remedy before the concerned Court and seek for damages/compensation. While working out that remedy, even insofar the articles that were not returned back to the petitioner, can be taken note of and necessary relief can be sought for. Except giving this clarity, no further orders can be passed in this case.
