The civil revision petition seeks for expeditious disposal of H.M.O.P.No.35 of 2021 on the file of the learned Subordinate Judge at Panruti.

2. When the matter came up for admission on 19.11.2024, I called for a report from the learned Trial Judge to state as to how long she requires to dispose of the said H.M.O.P.

3. The learned Subordinate Judge at Panruti has submitted a report stating that the respondent/wife has filed a counter on 05.08.2024. I.A.No.1 of 2022 filed by her seeking maintenance has been pending for arguments. The report further states that the case has been referred to mediation as per the consent of both sides and the next hearing is scheduled on 24.01.2025.

4.Taking into consideration the report of the learned Trial Judge, there shall be a direction to the learned Subordinate Judge at Panruti to dispose of H.M.O.P.No.35 of 2021 within a period of six months from the date when the report is received from the Mediation cell. I.A.No.1 of 2022 shall be disposed of within a period of four weeks from the date of 2/4

report of the Mediator. These two circumstances will arise, in case the case is not settled by the Mediator.

5. Accordingly, the civil revision petition stands disposed of. No costs.
