Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records of the Impugned Rejection Order-Proceedings No.O.Mu.152/2022/K1 dated 15.11.2022 passed by the 3rd respondent and quash the same and consequently direct the 3rd respondent to delete the petitioner's minor son name R.V.Shaswin in the Family Card No.333405289050 and to direct the 2nd respondent to issue new Family Card to the petitioner, within a stipulated time.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed in the nature of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records of the Impugned Rejection OrderProceedings No.O.Mu.152/2022/K1 dated 15.11.2022 passed by the 3rd respondent and quash the same and consequently direct the 3rd respondent to delete the petitioner's minor son name R.V.Shaswin in the Family Card No.333405289050 and to direct the 2nd respondent to issue new Family Card to the petitioner, within a stipulated time.

2.The name of the son of the petitioner was originally in the Family Card of the 4th respondent / wife of the petitioner. Owing to some internal arrangement, the son is now living with the petitioner and the daughter is now living with the 4th respondent. The petitioner wanted to delete the name of the son in the Family Card of the 4th respondent. An order has been passed for deleting the name of the son in the Family Card of the 4th respondent.

3.The petitioner may therefore make a fresh application for issuance of Family Card in his name including his son's name through proper procedure, enclosing all necessary documents. If it is done, the 2nd respondent may grant the Family Card, in accordance with rules, within a period of four weeks from the date of making the fresh application. 4.With the above observations, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
