O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking transfer of the trial in C.C.No.943 of 2023 from the file of the Judicial Magistrate No.III, Cuddalore to the file of the Judicial Magistrate No.I, Kanchipuram.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3. The petitioner is an accused in a complaint was lodged by the respondent for the offence under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act. The petitioner, being the accused, filed this petition seeking transfer only to drag the proceedings.

4. A perusal of the entire petition reveals that the petitioner did not even make out any grounds for transfer the trial in C.C.No.943 of 2023 from the Trial Court to another Court.

5. In view of the above, this Court is not inclined to transfer the trial in C.C.No.943 of 2023 from the file of the Judicial Magistrate No.III, Cuddalore to the file of the Judicial Magistrate No.I, Kanchipuram. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. However, the Trial Court is directed to complete the trial within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if not already disposed of.
