Mr.J.C.Durairaj, learned Additional Government Pleader accepts notice for R1 and R2 and is armed with instructions to enable final disposal of this Writ Petition, even at the stage of admission.

2. In light of the averments in the Writ Petition and the order that has been proposed to be passed now, no notice is thought necessary to R3, since their interests have also been taken note of and addressed in this order.

3. The petitioner prays for a mandamus directing the respondents to rectify/alter/incorporate his correct date of birth as 27.05.1994 instead of 30.04.1994 in his Secondary School Leaving Certificate and School Transfer Certificate. He has made a representation dated 11.09.2023 containing identical prayer before the first respondent followed by corrigendum dated 06.10.2023, which is stated to contain necessary enclosures. Pg.No.2/4

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner states that as the petitioner has made a representation before the Director of School Education, the array of first respondent may be amended.

5. Accordingly, the array of R1 is amended to The Director of School Education, Directorate of School Education, No.17, DPI Campus, College Road, Nungambakkam, Chennai - 600034.

6. Mr.Durairaj would submit that since the array of R1 is amended, the petitioner may be directed to furnish a copy of representation and the corrigendum to the first respondent, in order to enable him to consider and pass orders suitably.

7. Accordingly, the petitioner is directed to furnish a copy of this order along with his representation dated 11.09.2023 and the corrigendum dated 06.10.2023 with necessary enclosures before the first respondent forthwith.

8. Upon receipt of a copy of this order along with the representation and the corrigendum with supporting documents, the first respondent is directed to hear the petitioner as well as any others who, he may deem necessary to enable a proper decision being taken in the matter, consider the supporting documents filed by the petitioner and pass orders on representation dated 11.09.2023 and corrigendum dated 06.10.2023 within a period of eight (8) weeks from date of receipt of representation by the petitioner.
