This Original Petition has been filed taking advantage of Section 372 of the Indian Succession Act, 1925 along with relevant rules of the Original Side of Madras High Court seeking Succession Certificate relating to the debts in the name of the, Mr.S.Vasudevan, the husband of the 1st petitioner, who died intestate on 20.02.2011. The 2nd, 3rd and 4th petitioners are the son and daughters of the petitioner. The nature of the debts had been described in the schedule to the petition.

2.After following due procedure, the petitioners were directed to tender evidence. Accordingly, the 1st petitioner examined herself as PW-1. The death certificate and legal heirship certificate of her husband, Mr.S.Vasudevan, was marked as Exs.P1 and P2.

3.Taking into consideration the nature of evidence adduced and the documents produced, this Original Petition stands allowed. The Succession Certificate may be issued in favour of the petitioners in accordance with the rules.
