ORDER
The prayer sought for herein is for a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to conduct proper enquiry on petitioner's representation dated 04.08.2022 for effecting mutation in the patta and other revenue records in respect of petitioner's lands covered in S.F.No.225/1.
2. In respect of the land at S.No.225/1 at Manjini Village, Attur Taluk, Salem District, the petitioner had given a representation to the third respondent Tahsildar on 04.08.2022 for mutation in the relevant revenue records and the said representation since has not been considered, he has approached this Court by filing the present writ petition.
3. Heard Mr.R.Prabakar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.P.Sathish, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.
4. Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the said representation given by the 2/4
petitioner to the third respondent would be considered and decided on merits and in accordance with law within a time frame that may be stipulated by this Court.
5. Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for in this writ petition and having regard to the said stand taken by the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, this Court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition with the following order: That there shall be a direction to the third respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 04.08.2022 and pass necessary orders thereon on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six(6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
