In a proposed suit impugning an Annual General Meeting scheduled on 30.12.2022, the proposed plaintiffs seek leave to sue.

2. It is asserted that the above meeting is scheduled to be held at a hotel within the jurisdiction of this Court and the proposed second defendant resides within the jurisdiction of this Court.

3. Upon examining the draft plaint and considering the above submissions, at least a part of the cause of action has arisen within the jurisdiction of this Court. Therefore, this application is allowed as prayed for. As a corollary, the Registry is directed to number the suit, if otherwise in order. If the relevant papers are in order, the Registry is directed to list the interim application on 21.12.2022.
