Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a Writ of Certiorari, to call for the records pertaining to the impugned order passed by the 1st respondent dated 14.12.2022 in proceedings No.PDY/RECY/45(G)/55-00-042456-000-0199 and quash the same.

O R D E R

The captioned Writ Petition (hereinafter referred to as "WP" for the sake of brevity, convenience, and clarity) has been filed seeking the issuance of a writ of certiorari, to quash the order dated 14.12.2022 passed by the first respondent, whereby the bank account of the petitioner was frozen on account of the alleged default committed by the principal employer, namely M/s. Sai Supreme Textiles Private Limited, in remitting the contributions payable to the Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC).

2. Mr. A. Maheshnath, learned counsel for the petitioner, has brought to the notice of this Court the order dated 22.10.2025 passed by a learned Single Judge of this Court in W.P. No. 32563 of 2025, wherein it has been recorded that the principal employer has undertaken to pay the entire dues payable to the Employees' State Insurance Corporation. In view of the said undertaking, the attachment of the bank account of the principal employer was lifted, subject to the principal employer complying with the payment schedule specified therein.

3. Mr. C.V. Ramachandramurthy, learned counsel appearing for the respondents, does not dispute the above factual position.

4. In view of the undertaking given by the principal employer and in the light of the order dated 22.10.2025 passed by this Court in W.P. No. 32563 of 2025, this Court directs the respondents to lift the attachment of the bank account of the petitioner forthwith, subject to the principal employer duly complying with the directions and conditions imposed in the aforesaid order dated 22.10.2025. HEMANT CHANDANGOUDAR, J., mk Accordingly, the captioned Writ Petition stands disposed of. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
