ORDER

This Suo Motu Case is dealt with in an extraordinary manner by the Dedicated Bench, pursuant to Suo Motu.W.P.(Crl.) No.618 of 2025.

2. The occurrence in this case happened on 11.12.2020. It is submitted that the robbed amount has already been returned to the defacto Complainant The complainant is present and submits that he has no objection to the case being disposed of. The accused remains untraceable and summons could not Page No.1 of 3

be executed despite best efforts.

3. Considering the long pendency, the complainant's stand and the fact that the accused remains untraceable, further continuation would impinge upon the right to a speedy trial. No useful purpose will be served by keeping the matter pending.

4. Accordingly, the case in CC.No.714/2022 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate No. II court Karaikal, Karaikal Taluk, Karaikal shall stand quashed and this Suo Motu Transfer Case stand disposed of. 12.09.2025 shl electronically alone. The Trial Court shall take note of the order and accordingly classify the case pending before them as allowed / dismissed / disposed of, etc, and while doing so, consider any applications such as disposal of properties, etc., and pass appropriate orders, as may be necessary. Further, the Court below is directed to dispatch the copy of this order to all concerned. Page No.2 of 3
