ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to modify the conditions imposed on the petitioner by the learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, Erode in Crl.M.P.No.3984 of 2022 by order dated 14.12.2022. 1/4

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner was granted bail by the learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, Erode in C.M.P.No.3984 of 2022 on 14.12.2022. Some of the conditions imposed was as follows :

"(v) that the petitioner/accused shall stay in Salem Town and he shall not leave Salem Town, until further orders, but subject to the condition (vii), (vi) that the petitioner/accused shall report before the Inspector of Police, Shevapet Police Station, Shevapet, Salem, daily at 10.00 am and sign until further orders." 3.He would further submit that the petitioner is a resident of Erode District and it is very difficult for him to comply with the above conditions. Hence, he seeks for modification of the above condition. 4.In view of the above, the conditions imposed by the Trial Court is modified as follows :- "that the petitioner shall report before the respondent police on every Saturday at 10.30 a.m. for a period of eight (8) weeks"

5.Accordingly, this Criminal Original petition is ordered and the other conditions imposed shall remain unaltered.
