ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to call for the records and to quash the proceedings in Cr.No.78 of 2019 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Anti-Land Grabbing Cell, Central Crime Branch, Vepery, Chennai - 7. 2.When the matter is taken up, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) submitted that there are four accused in this case, namely 1)V.Subramani, 2)Shubhakth, 3)Nhishani Subramani and 4)Jaya Viswanathan. Respondent Police after investigation found that there is no involvement of A3 and A4 and therefore decided to drop further action against A3 and A4. Petitioner is third accused in this case. Therefore, in view of the fact that respondent Police is going to file action dropped report against the petitioner, nothing survives in this petition.

3.In view of the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) that respondent Police is going to file final report dropping 2/5

further action against this petitioner, this Court finds it is not necessary to pass any orders in this petition.
