The present petition has been filed seeking to extend the time limit which was stipulated for complying the order dated 22.03.2022 passed by this Court in W.P.No.6298 of 2022.

2. This Court vide order dated 22.03.2022 in W.P.No.6298 of 2022 had directed the petitioner to pay 20% of the disputed tax demand within a period of fours weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order.

3. Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that though the petitioner had paid 20% of the tax demand to the 5th respondent, as per the direction of this Court, however, due to some financial crisis, the said payment could not be made within the time frame fixed by this Court. Hence, this Court may grant leniency to the petitioner and extend the time limit for complying the said order as prayed for.

4. Being satisfied with the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of this Writ Petition and the bonafide shown by the petitioner, the time limit is extended as prayed for in this petition and the payment made by the petitioner shall be taken into consideration by the respondent concerned. 28.03.2023 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis NHS
