ORDER

This Criminal Original has been filed to expedite the trial in Special C.C.No.2 of 2018 on the file of the Chief Judicial Magistrate Court, Erode.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that in every enquiry or trial the proceedings shall be held as expeditiously as possible as per Section 309 of Cr.P.C. The learned counsel for the petitioner would further submit that once the charge sheet is filed before the Court below and the prosecution is relying upon the same, the petitioner is entitled for a copy of the charge sheet and it has to be supplied to him under Section 207 of Cr.PC. 3.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case, there shall be a direction to the trial Court to expedite the trial in C.C.No.2 of 2018 as per Section 309 of Cr.P.C and also directed to furnish a copy of the charge sheet filed by the prosecution, in order to enable the petitioner to defend himself effectively during trial.
