ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to complete the investigation in Crime No. 619/2024 and file a final report before the learned Judicial Magistrate II, Poonamallee, within a time frame specified by this Court.

2. The case of the petitioner is that one Sankaran along with his men had trespassed in to the property of the petitioner and caused serious damage to the subject property. In this regard the petitioner had given a complaint before the respondent and on the basis of the same, a case has been registered in Crime No.619 of 2024. The grievance of the petitioner is that, though the case has been registered, there is no progress in the investigation. Hence, the present petition with the aforesaid relief.

3. The learned Government Advocate [Criminal Side] appearing for the respondent on instructions submitted that the investigation has almost been completed and the final report will be filed within a period of four weeks.

4. In view of the above submissions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent to expedite investigation and file the final report within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.
